Correlations between adaptability to a biofeedback (BF) system for electroencephalographic (EEG) α-activity enhancement and results of such psychological examinations as Cornel Medical Index (CMI), Minnesota Multiple Personality Inquiry (MMPI) and Kraepelin test were studied. The results suggested that the subjects who had some psychological problems and were aware of presence of the problems showed better adaptability to the BF system than ones without such tendency. The faculty examined by Kraepelin test seemed not to be associated with adaptability to the BF system.
