There are many problems on the geochemical point of view to the studies of green tuff. In this paper, the author discussed the chemical composition of magnetic minerals in green tuff and leaching of green tuff in acid media. The magnetic minerals will be hard to change in quality. Therefore, the conditions on the formation of mother rocks could be estimated by the composition of the magnetic minerals. In the mole percentages of Fe (II), Fe(III) and Ti of magnetic minerals are plotted on the triangular diagram, these points were placed near the line combining the two points which show the composition of hematite and illmenite. This means the progressive oxidation state. The author presumed the stage of volcanic rocks related with origin of green tuff on the proportion of these three components. The leaching of green tuff were examined under various conbinations of time, temperature, pressure and pH of solution. In this experiment, temperature, pressure and pH of solution affected the leaching of green tuff. The order of elements which were leached by acid media was Na>Ca>Mg, Fe, Al>SiO_2>K in pH 2 solution and SiO_2>Na>Ca>K, Mg>Al>Fe in pH 3 solution.
