STABILITY TESTS OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS BY DETERMINATION OF OXYGEN ABSORPTION

概要

The oxygen absorption method with an induction period meter made it possible to measure oxygen uptake of petroleum products placed under severe conditions. The results by this method were correlated with those by the direct oxygen determination. These two oxygen determination methods were found to be simpler and capable of higher precision than the spectrophotometry and peroxide value test.
