The separation of diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) chelates of Hg(II), CH_3Hg(I), C_2H_5Hg(I) and C_6H_5Hg(I) was done by reversed-phase partition chromatography. The separation was accomplished within 20 min. The column was a 3.9 mm × 300 mm *-Bondapak C_<18> column, and the eluent was 85 % (V/V) methanol-water mixture containing 10^<-4> mol dm^<-3> of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA).
