Wet grinding is one of the major ways of precision machining. However, its precision is mainly affected by grinding wheel wear. In order to improve the precision of wet grinding, depth of grinding is compensated by in-process measurement of grinding wheel wear using pressure generated by grinding fluid in this report. Dimensional error of ground workpiece is decreased to 0.67 μm.
