The frictional moment : in fiber suspensions is measured to investigate experimentally the flow on a rotating disk. In laminar region and in case of aspect ratio beyond 200,the fiber flocculence increases the frictional resistance. In turbulent region, the drag reduction increases with the aspect ratio. Though the effect of disk diameter is little, the drag reduction increases with the diameter. These phenomena are correlated with those in pipe flow.
