An exact-distgonalization techniqtre on small clusters is trsed to sttrdy the grotrnd state of thedirnerized t-J tt?odel at qtrarter-filling. The eqtral-tiuaae charge and spin correlations, chargeand spin gaps, and binding energy are calctrlaxted for the two-diuaaensional lattice with a spatiatldimerization pattern corresponding to organic condtrctors x-(BEDT-TTF)xX. XN7e shoxv thatconapetition betw'een the efl'ects of' two types of' dittaeriz?ttion, i.e., diuaaerization in the hoppingintegral arud ditnerization in flue exchange itateraction, leads to the instrlator-strperconductortransition in the grotrnd statte of tlae taaodel.
