New Quantum Monte Carlo Approach to Ground-State Phase Transitions in Quantum Spin Systems

A new efficient scheme for the finite-size-scaling sttrdy of grottnd-state phase tr?tnsitions inquantutm spin systenas is proposed on tlae basis of the qtranttrm IVIonte Carlo tnethod, That is,Trotter nvrnabers and siraatrlated tetauperatures 2114) scaled in accordance xvith systern sizes, atnd ortlyone simulation is reqtrired for each systetn size. The transition point is estimated independentlyof the critica'tl exponents using the nor-eqtrilibritrtn relaxation of the order parrarneter in 21 verylarge system. This sche?aae is confirrzued by tl?e estiun?xtion of the critical phenottuenon of theone-dhnxensional S :' 172 asytnnnetric XY naodel.
