Numerical Study on Vortex States in Three Dimensions with Point Pins : Effect of a Single Twin Plane

The effect of a single twin plane in vortex states in three dimensions is studied numerically. The Friedel-like oscillation of the density of flux lines is observed in the vicinity of the twin plane, a strong pinning center of flux lines. In the Bragg glass phase, the oscillation is extended in the whole system with a long correlation length, which suggests a power-law decay rounded by finiteness of the system size. In the vortex glass regime, the density rapidly decays to the average value as in the vortex liquid phase. The oscillation is also observed in a tilted field, and introduction of point pins increases the range of the oscillation.
