As an effective model to describe the perovskite-type manganates (La,A)MnO3, the double-exchange model (the Kondo lattice model with ferrornagnetic couplings) on a cubic lattice isinvestigated. The spin excitation spectrurn of the model in the ground state IS studied ustngthe spin wave approximation. The spin wave dispersion relation observed in the inelastic neutron scattering experiment for Lao.wPbo.:?NInO:? is reproduced. Effective values for the electronbandwidth as well as Hund's coupling are estimated from the data.
