Magnetic structure of a Heisenberg spin glass with predominantly ferromagnetic interactions is studied under applied magnetic fields with use of a spin-quench method.Over a wide field range, a scattering function I(q) associated with transverse spin cornponents is found to exhibit a distinct peak at q=q...,., while the peak position variesas a power of the field, q....:H"'. At low fields, a vortex-like spin pattern is ob-served in the transverse components. The results are discussed in conjunction with re-cent small-angle neutron scattering measurements on metallic spin glasses Ni. .Mn.and (Fe. .Mn..).,P..B.Al,.
