The validity of the relativistic WKB method proposed in a previous paper [J. Phys.Soc. Jpn. 60 (1991) 8504 is examined for bound states of an electron in screenedCoulomb potential. To this end the radial Dirac equation is solved both exactly andapproximately for a model potential of a simple analytic form and the results are corn-pared. Through a detailed comparison, it is shown that the relativistic WKB methodgives energies and wavefunctions which are in good agreement with the exact. Severalfeatures in the relativistic WKB wavefunctions are also pointed out.
