We consider the d-dimensional invariant phase space for a quantum idealrelativistic gas and derive the cluster decomposition for the grand canonical andcanonical partition functions as well as for the microcanonical and grandmicrocanonical densities of states. The cluster decomposition for the latter density ofstates is rederived on the basis of the (anti-)symmetrization of the quantum states. Asan application of the formalism for the ideal (without interaction) gas to the case ofsystems with interaction we choose the statistical bootstrap equation and study theeffects of the dimensionality in such statistical bootstrap systems together with thoseof the quantum statistics.[quantum " dimensionality, ll clusterdensity, ll criticallstatusttcs, unvariant phase space, relativistic ideal gas, decomposition, statistical bootstrap model, hadronuc leveltemperature
