• Analytic expressions have been developed for the electric quadrupole transitionrates within the SU(3) limit of Interacting Boson Approximation for the intra gammaband transitions in even-even nuclei. The calculated values in """'Er agree with theexperimental as well as the theoretical one's, obtained using the complicated tech-nique of numerical analysis.
