The intensities of the gamma transitions in "'Dy have been measured pre-cisely by a 45 cc Ge(Li) detector. Unequal quadrupole mcments for the groundand gamma vibrational bands have been proposed in order to remove the in-consistencies in the values of band mixing parameter Z, for this doubly even de-formed nucleus of "'Dy.
