Distorted-wave-Born-approximation calculations have been carried out for quanturn sticking coefficients at 0 K for an atom interacting witlt a material surface bymeans of an inverse quadratic potential. The calculation shows, for the first time, afinite quantum sticking coefficient for vanishing wave number of the incident atom.
