By evolving Maxwell-Boltzmann trarusport equettjons, various quantities onSW8t111 of charged particles have been a?aa]yzed. Although this treatnaent is pro-perly gezteral, and conunon transport equations fc>u' charged particles ought tobe given, in particular, equations only for electrons were presented here. Therelation between the random energy atad the drift energy was first derivec[ andthe general expression of the electron velocity was deduced too. For a sjlntpleexanaple, one diunensional steady-state e1ectro?t SWIIIII in a uniform naediunt wastreated. Electron swarm characteristics nuxtaericall),z calculated in He, Ne or Arexhibited sonae interesting properties, which were physically clearly elucidated. These results were also corrxpared witlx several data ctlready published. Agreeunentsbetween them were qualjtativejy rather well in detailed structures.
