Spin Dynamics in Two-Dimensional Quantum Heisenberg Antiferromagnets

We demonstrate that the self-consistent theory of' Blturtae and Htrbb?trd, a variant of the mode-nuode coupling theory, works well for a wide range of ternperatvrre to describe the spin dynamicsof the two-dimensional Heisenberg naodel. At low tenaper?tttrres, the relaxation f'trnction is shownto satis['y a dynarnical scaling relation consistent with the nornlinear cr utuodel analysis and theMonte Carlo sinatulations. Tlae theory is 21180 applied to calcttlarte the spin-lattice relaxation tirneV"l. The inverse, I/T), is shown to decrease rajcidly and then to ttnrn to izucrease gradtrallyas temperatture increases in agreenaent with the IVIonte C21110 simtrlation. XX7hen the hyperfineinteraction has ;+ large intersite cotrpling, the contribtrtion of' the difl'trsion rtaode is f'otrnd tobeconae very large with increasing ternperatures. We discvxss the necessity of introducing acutoff in the long wave-length f'or the difl'trsion tnode for conrparison with the experiraaents onL2lL2 Ctr0,j .
