IVIotion of a single carrier added into a two-dimensional antiferromagnetic state is sttrdiedby using a variational naethod for a spin-fertnion rnodel which incltrdes Coulonab interactionbetween itinerant f'ermions, antiferrornagnetic cotrpling between localized spins, and Hund corn-pling between localized and itinerant spins. XVhen the carrier is an electron at low density, theband-width representing the coherent motion of the carrier is similar to that of' non-interactingelectrons. On the other hand, when the carrier is a hole introduced into a half-filled band, itcotrples with the antiferromagnetic spin fltrctuation, thereby the band-width of the coherent statebecomes narrow and its lowest energy state appears at k : (7T/2,7T/2) for a sqtuare lattice. Therestmlts indicate that the dynamics of the carrier is strongly dependent on the type of carriers.
