Ballistic Conductance Fluctuation and Quantum Chaos in Sinai Billiard

We investigate classical dynanaics and quantuna transport in weakly-opened sqtrare and Sinaibilliards in the perpendictrlar magnetic field B. In the case of sqttare billiard, the correlationfield ,Z3. of smoothed conductance varies irregtrlarly xvith respect to B, while in the case of' Sinaibilliard it decreases monotonically with increstse of B. By cotaaparing between B. and Lyaptrnovexponents in wide naagnetic field regions, it f'ollows that flucttration features of B. are attributedto the stability and instability of phase space in the trnderlying classical dynataaics. In Sinaibilliard case, geounetry of tlae billiard yields Aharonov-Bohm oscillation in non-smoothed condtrctance, strppressing a syrnptotn of chaos. Nevertheless, B. evaluated in terms of the smoothedcondtrctance nicely mimics the scaled variance of Lyaptrnov exponents.
