For those high-7'. Cu-oxides wh.ose crystalline unit is composed of a metal (M.)sheet sandwiched by two pyramidal Cub, planes, a phonon-mecliated superconduc-tivity model is proposed in whi<:h a phonon having a change in the coordinationnumber of a vibrating ion induces a charge-density wave in the Cub. plane. The elec-iron-phonon coupling constant in this mechanism is estimated and is shown toresonably reproduce the observed d In T./ din r valtme given earlier (J. Phys. Soc.Jpn. 60 (1991) 3 194) on the basis of the Eliashberg theory, where r denotes the M.-0bond length.thigh-'7'.Cu-oxides, phonon-mediated superconductivity, covalency, charge-den- lj sity wave, coordination numberI
