We consider the "similarity KP equation" written as (d/d.v)'zv(.v)-l-6?(,v)(d/cAx)u(x) -4x(cl/c3x)u(x) -2u(x)=O which can be obtained from the KP equa-tion by assuming the similarity solutic>n form. We have investigated the structures ofthe solutions of this equation and have shown that they can be expressed by fourdifferent forms (representations) wlaich are (i) two-directional Wronskian type, (ii)Gramian t>'re, (iii) rfaffian t>'r>e, auacl (iv) Wronski-Gram mixing type. For each ofthese cases (i) to (iv), the analytic proofs of the solutions have beeua presented.
