Antiparallel domain walls of ferroelectric thiourea have been observed on X-raydiffraction topographs. These domain walls are (001) planes with thicknesses less than1 pm. Contrast of the images of the xvalls on the topographs depends 0II the kind ofBragg reflections used for the topograplxs. Tlais dependence indicates that the strucLure of the domain walls is similar to the intermediate phase with modulated longperiod structures (phase II' and phase IV) observed between the higlt temperatureparaelectric phase and low temperature ferroelectric phase. A Bragg reflection fromthe domain walls accompanies satellite reflections. The period of the modulated structure of the walls is estimated to be 300 - 500 times the length of the c-;txis of the ferroelectric phase.[ferroe1ectric domain wall, domain boundary, 180' domain wall, l'erroelectric lf thiourea, X-ray topographyl
