The electron energy spectrum in nuclear /7-decays is affected by the weak neutralcurrent interaction in nuclei to the order of several eV. Time effect may present aserious o bstacle to future measurements of the neutrino mass within the accuracy of afew eV but, once observed, it may be very useful f'or measurements of the weak mix-ing angle and the quark density in nuclei.
