The coupled renormalization-group equation for strong, weak and electromagnetic coupling constants are presented to the lowest non-trivial order. Contrary to the naive belief of the asymptotic freedom in quantum chromodynamics, the interference in three interactions leads to a possibility of "asymptotic catastrophe", where all the interactions become strong, as energies go beyond the "temporary freedom "region and towards the Planck mass (〜10^<19>Gev).
