The rotational energy levels of NHj in dilute solution in KBr have beencalculated for three possible orientations of a tetrahedral ton in an octahedralfield. Both tunneling and librational levels have been obtained. It is concludedthat the inelastic neutron scattering spectra, which were reported in part I [J.Phys. Soc. Jpn. 52 (1983) 24014, are best accounted for on the basis of C.. orienta-tion of the NHj ions on the cation lattice sites.
