Nonperiodic oscillations have been observed in tlte Belousov-Zl?abotinskyreaction in a closed and well-stirred system.By plotting each anaplitude (or peak-to-peak value) against the prec:eding one(Lorenz plot), we obtaixted well defined single-valued transition functions whichallow for a period three.Thus, in the sense of [1 and York, we conclude that the system exhibits chaoticbehavior.
