Slow beats in the spin echo envelope from "N NQR of symmetric hydrazidederivatives, diacetylhydrazine and diformylhydrazine, are reported. These echoettvelope modtx[ations are aseri bed to the intramolecular magnetic dipole couplingbetween ?*.itrogen nuclei. The principal Z axis of electric field gradient tenso?'directed along the normal to the molecular plane in djacetylhydrazine and thatfor diforntylhydrazjne was nearly parallel to the N-N bond. izt the molecular plane.
