Temperature dependences of hyperfine interactions of "B implanted in Ni wereinvestigated in the temperature range of 6 K -730 K by the NMR method withuse of polarized "B produced in a nuclear reaction and the asymmetric 73 decay. Two kinds of hyperfine fields with different signs were observed (7l?tTh= T4.161 i0.022 kG and #t.r= - l.611f0.02l kG at 6 K), which indicated that the imrlanted"B were trapped in two different sites (S' and S , respectively). The spin-latticerelaxation times T. and the population ratcs at the two sites were studied. Nearthe Curie temperature, an effect of critical slowing-down of the spin-spin correla-tion was observed as steep variation of T.. The behavior of local field around 7'Cwas also studied by varying the external field. Results of these experiments near7'C indicate itinerant nature of the electron-spin structure in nickel.
