Spin and parity of a state at 4.459 MeV in "Mn were assigned to be 7/2by the measurements of the analyzing powers and cross sections in the reactionof "Fe(p, a)"Mu at 21 MeV. This state was strongly populated in this reactionand was confirmed to be the analog of the ground state of the "Cr.
