Hall Coefficient of single crystals of pure Zn and Zn-Cu η phase alloys were measured in the temperature range of -196℃∼100℃. Remarkable anisotropy was found not only in pure Zn but also in Zn-Cu alloys, while absolute values of the Hall coefficient decreas with Cu-concentration. The temperature dependences also depend on the direction of the magnetic field. In order to know the origin of the anisotropy, the contribution from the various parts of the Fermi surface are estimated, partly by calculation and partly by the present data. Consequently, it is suggested that the most heavily distorted part of the Fermi surface is the 1st and 2nd zone hole, and that observed concentration dependence should be interpreted in terms of the 1st and 2nd zone hole.
