The parity-forbidden transitions of deoxyheme via the A.. and E. modes areinvestigated. The possible transitions are 'B..+'E., 'E.-+'A.., 'E.-+'B.., 'A..-+'E.(8062cm ') and 'A..-+'E. (20902cm '). The variations of the oscillator strengthswith respect to temperatures are calculated for these transitions. The theoretically ob-tained optical spectra are fairly well agree with the experimerntal ones observed byKobayashi and Yanagawa.
