The exact solution of the Stokes equations for the creeping motion of a spherical cap arbitrarily oriented with respect to a shear field is obtained through an application of dual series equations. Under the condition of torque and force on the cap, the linear and angular velocities gained by the cap are calculated as a function of its semiangle.
