The collision induced dissociation of HD^+ ion by electron impact has been considered by applying Born approximation to the transition from the ground to the first excited repulsive state. The angular distribution of the proton or deuteron produced as dissociation fragments has been considered in detail. Due to the heteronuclear neture of Hd^+ ion some interesting deviations from the results obtained for proton from the dissociation of homonuclear H_2+ ion habe been observed.
