We study the multiplicity distributions both in non-single diffractive and whole inelastic pp(pp) interactions in the framework of the geometric quark jet model. It is shown that the model reproduces successfully the approximate KNO scaling of multiplicity distributions at ISR and scaling violation at SPS collider energies, if the average internal multip1icity in the impact parameter space is suitably chosen. For multiplicity distributions in the rapidity interval |y|<1.3, the model predicts validity of the KNO scaling throughout ISR-SPS collider energy range as experiments suggest.
