Naphtalen C_<10> of a chair-conformation type is synthesized in plasma CVD by the aid of H, so that each constitutive C-atom takes the sp^3 hybrid orbital. Six pieces of C_<10> interact with each other to synthesize a soccer ball-type C_<60> through the medium of H-H bond. When a C_<60> interacts with a C_<10>, the coordination number necessary for a sp^3 hybrid orbital is satisfied at some C-C bonds, and then the embryo of diamond is formed.
