The thermal stability of D=10 supersymmetry and gauge invariance of the type-I Neveu-Schwarz-Ramond open superstring based upon the Gliozzi-Scherk-Olive projection is investigated through the planar massless vector boson self-energy within the framework of the thermofield dynamics. Irrespective of thermal fluctuations, in particular, the type-I Neveu-Schwarz-Ramond open thermal superstring is not only finite but also gauge invariant so long as β>π√<2α'>, i.e., vanishing of the temperature-dependent amplitude of the planar massless vector boson self-energy at zero energy is guaranteed at least at β> π√<2α'>.
