The SU(9) symmetry proposed by the present authors is extended to SL(9) so that the Lorentz invariance is preserved. Discrete operations P. C and T are also extended. An adjoint representation of U^^~(18) contains (1/2)^+,0^- and 1^- particles of the SU(3) singlet and of the octet. Totally symmetric representation is also examined. Ordinary SU(6) results concerning the baryon currents are reproduced if we choose the latter representation. In our theory the baryon number is included in the SL(3) algebra which is extended from the SL(2) (covering group of the Lorentz group) algebra. The second quantization is done so that it violates the SL(9) symmetry. The quantization of this system consistent with the symmetry seems difficult and is not attempted in this paper.
