Nucleon Decay in Supergrand Unification

By assuming a horizontal SU_f(2) symmetry, we analyze nucleon decays for tesing supergrand unification ideas and find a ΔM=-ΔS rule even without a specific assumption on exchange particles. Here M and S are muon number and strangeness. The M+S conservation leads to absence of some decay modes of nucleon (e. g., n→μ^+ hadrons, etc.).
