Heat capacities of 2-methyltetrahydrofuran were precisely measured in the temperature range between 13 K and 310 K with an adiabatic calorimeter. The α-glass transition temperature at which the relaxation time became 10^3 s was found to be 91 K in the liquid state, and another glass transition was found at 103 K in the metastable crystalline phase. The implication of the two glass transitions taking place at close temperatures is discussed.
