Non-radiative surface plasma oscillations in a semi-infinite metal are quantized by means of Dirac quantization method for constrained Hamiltonian systems. The additional boundary conditions at the plane surface of the metal are considered as "weak constraints". The hydrodynamic jellium model is used to treat electrons in the metal. In consequence of the Dirac quantization procedure, we find that the usual dispersion relation of surface plasmon is a unique solution of the dispersion equation and there does not exist the spurious dispersion branch appeared in the previous paper where the same system was quantized without the aid of Dirac method.
