Decay Properties of Highly Excited Mesons in a Duality Scheme with the Quark-Model Hadron Spectrum

We discuss partial decay widths of mesonic resonances in a previously proposed duality scheme with the quark-model hadron spectrum. It is suggested that the scheme is promising to the accommodation to the positivity requirements for elastic resonance widths. It is also found that the predictions for the widths here are significantly different from those given by the Frampton amplitude.
