The inequalities are derived for three mass scales of SO(10) when SO(10) breaks down via SO(4)×SO(6) to SU(2)_L×SU(3)_c×U(1). Especially, α_S has a lower bound; α_S(M_L)≥5(sin^2θω-1/6)^<-1> α_<em>/9 (M_L∧80GeV). Some comments are made on the representation of the Higgs scalars which describe the symmetry breaking of SO(10). It is claimed that the minimal set includes {54},{45},{16} and {10}.
