Two-nucleon emission process following in-flight pion absorption at low energies is investigated under a microscopic approach. The effective Hamiltonian obtained by the study of the elementary process π^+d→pp is applied to complex nuclei. We calculate the absorption cross section by taking account of both the distortion of the incoming pion and the outgoing nucleons. The partial absorption cross section, the angular distribution and the single proton energy spectrum are also discussed in detail.
