Roton-Roton Scattering at Large Total Momentum

We report a theoretical study of roton-roton scattering at large total momentum. We show that the hybridization of the two-roton states with the single particle excitation can give rise to a strong energy dependence of the cross section as observed by Forbes and Wyatt in direct collisions between ballistic roton beams.
