Relativistic analyses of the ratio of the isovector spin-flip to nonspin-flip effective NN interaction strength from the Gamow-Teller and Fermi transitions in 0°(p, n) scattering are performed using the factorized relativistic distorted-wave impulse approximation. Our relativistic calculation using the NN interaction with a pseudoscalar coupling is similar to the nonrelativistic result. On the other hand, the calculation with a pseudovector coupling in the place of pseudoscalar one can give large values of the ratios in the intermediate-energy range from 300 to 500 MeV, but is smaller than the nonrelativistic result and the experimental data in the low-energy range below 200 MeV. This suggests that the important relativistic effect due to the negative-energy contribution may be apparent in the ratio.
