Supersymmetry and Casimir Stress in Plane Geometry : Particles and Fields

We study supersymmetric systems including supergravity in a Minkowski space with parallel plane boundaries. Using the canonical commutators subject to the boundary conditions found previously, we calculate the renormalized vacuum expectation values of the symmetrized canonical energy-momentum tensors for massless sectors. They are found to be all the same as the well-known QED's result up to a sign. For gauge sectors the importance of the correct mode-counting in the covariant formulations is stressed.
