Analysis of a Modified Korteweg-de Vries Equation

A nonlinear evolution equation of modified Korteweg-de Vries type is studied. A systematic analysis concerning its solitary wave solutions is performed. Both kink and bell-shape solitary wave solutions are found. Numerical experiments show that the latter are soliton-like.
