The problem of π^- condensation within the framework of the highly simplified Hamiltonian (in which only the negative pions are contained) is discussed by using the method of the normal mode. The contradiction between the conclusions presented by Sawyer et al. and Migdal with respect to the π^- condensation in neutron star matter is resolved.
