The results of a previous paper, in which, following Kerner's work, the Hamiltonian formulation of the Wheeler-Feynman theory of action-at-a-distance in classical electrodynamics has been carried out to obtain the classical (relativistic) Hamiltonian and the corresponding quantum-mechanical Hamiltonian operator (both to order e^4 and c^<-4>) for two spinless charged particles, are generalized to describe the interaction between two spin-half charged particles. The spin has been introduced phenomenologically into the Hamiltonian of two spinless charges by developing a set of rules to do this. To order e^2 and (υ/c)^2 the spin-dependent Hamiltonian derived is found to be in agreement with the Breit interaction.
